Thanks to a highly energized and organized family of alumni, patients join a special community of recovery when they leave Rancho Mirage and return home.

Alumni in Betty Ford Center chapters meet regularly at locations throughout the United States and Canada. Many individual alumni around the world are also available to share 12 Step meeting information and provide support for newcomers.

Each fall, hundreds of members of the Betty Ford Center family gather in the Coachella Valley to honor their recovery and pay tribute to Betty Ford, the brave woman who co-founded the miraculous place in the California desert where more than 90,000 people have been given the gift of a new life.
