Phase 2

Practicing Recovery Principles

The Residential Day Treatment (RDT) level of care has patients attending treatment activities on a separate campus and living in a community of homes occupied by RDT patients. YAT patients are assigned to a designated YAT homes. The homes have a maximum of 6 patients each and one is staffed around the clock except during weekdays when patients are attending treatment activities all day long. Despite the structured supervision, there is increased freedom and self accountability expectations from that offered on campus and in the Inpatient level of care. For example, YAT patients residing in homes are responsible for their own meals and housekeeping. The YAT patients transferred to RDT are oriented to RDT rules, expectations and YAT specific guidelines.
