After a YAT patient is declared medically stable he is assigned a counselor on a hall located on the Betty Ford Center campus. This Inpatient level of care has 24 hour medical and counseling supervision. The length of stay on campus is usually 4 weeks but may be as long as 6 weeks. After additional multi-disciplinary assessments are completed, the Treatment Team identifies and prioritizes counseling related treatment needs and problems into a Treatment Plan with specific goals and action plans. Patients also receive a Workbook of treatment assignments focused on addiction recovery utilizing 12-Step technology. Beside traditional treatment services offered to all regular Betty Ford Center patients, YAT patients also receive unique specialty programming designed to meet developmental and age appropriate needs. These include specialty groups focused on goal setting, leadership and relationships, enhanced fitness program, extra nutritional counseling and groups, life skills development, team building, and outdoor day long adventure outings
