Who should attend Therapeutic Aftercare (TAC) groups?

Those who have completed a residential, outpatient, and/or family program at the Betty Ford Center or in another treatment program will find the groups beneficial. Those participating need to be at least 18 years old, feel motivated toward continuing their recovery and have at least 30 days of abstinence.

What are the benefits of attending Therapeutic Aftercare?

The groups give participants a weekly connection with others who are also motivated to strengthen their personal recovery. The confidential, safe environment allows participants to address challenges with a counselor as well as peers.

When does Therapeutic Aftercare group meet?

TAC group meets once a week in the evening for an hour and a half (day of the week to be assigned).

How long do I attend Therapeutic Aftercare?

The counselor will be able to make the best recommendation for length of attendance; however, most group members attend between 9-12 months.

What is the cost for Therapeutic Aftercare?

The assessment fee is $95, and the weekly group cost is $40.
