them to help all those in need to begin to recover from

coaches, law enforcement officials, nurses, therapists
and other professionals working with alcoholics and

| Summer Institute for Medical Students |
The Summer Institute for Medical Students (SIMS)
is a unique learning experience for medical students
to gain understanding and insight into addictive disease
and the recovery process. |
| Women's Symposium |
The Betty Ford Center presents one women’s symposium each year.
The Women’s Symposium is an event that strengthens knowledge, competencies and collaborative networks for those who care for chemically dependent women and advocates the success of treatment. |
| Alcohol Awareness Hour |
10-week Community Education Program of lectures
by leading addiction professionals on Saturday mornings
from January – April at the Eisenhower Medical
Center’s Annenberg Center |
