Betty Ford Center Honors Special Week
Children of Alcoholics (COA) Week – February 12 – 18 – celebrates the recovery of the many thousands of children (of all ages) who have received the help they needed to recover from the pain and losses suffered in their childhood, and it offers hope to those still suffering from the adverse impact of parental alcohol and drug addiction.
Helene Photias, Manager of the Betty Ford Center’s Children’s Program, said this annual event is an opportunity to raise awareness on both a local and national level.
