Are there a specific set of symptoms by which a diagnosis of alcoholism can be made? I am a medical student, studying addictions, and the more I read about it the more vague it seems. Chronic relapses into drunkenness is just one of the manifestations of the sickness, but I know this is not the whole picture. Will you list the symptoms of alcoholism?
