Welcome to Betty Ford Five Star Kids of Texas!

Children are usually the first ones hurt and the last ones helped in the midst of the disease of addiction. Including parents and guardians in the healing process for their children creates the best possible opportunity for healing for the whole family.

With this in mind, the Five Star Kids program was launched in Texas in 1998 with the support of a group of loyal Betty Ford Center alumni. The program has been offered throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in both school and community settings. Home base for Five Star Kids is Irving, Texas (Las Colinas) where the majority of programs are held in our offices.

We believe in strong partnerships and work with numerous agencies, treatment programs and professional organizations to help create a network of support for children who love someone addicted to alcohol or other drugs.
