THE TRUST TRIANGLE (and Charitable Gift Annuities Too)

Trusts and Charitable Gift Annuities (CGAs) are future gifts. You put funds into one of these tools now. You can receive income for life (or for the designated term). At the end of the term, sometime in the future, the balance in the account is given as a donation to BFC.

A charitable gift annuity is an annuity policy that you may purchase from the Betty Ford Center. It can provide you with fixed income during the term of the annuity. Annuities may not be available in all states and are subject to the regulations governing charitable gift annuities in the states where they are available. Call the BFC Foundation at (800) 854-9211 ext. 4105 for more details.

This is not legal advice. Any prospective donor should seek the advice of a qualified estate and/or tax professional to determine the consequences of his or her gift. For residents of California, the California Life Insurance Guaranty Association does not insure charitable gift annuities
