About Betty Ford Center
From Our CEO
Since its opening in October 1982, the Betty Ford Center has focused on a singular mission: To provide effective treatment services for alcoholism and other drug dependencies.
As you visit the Betty Ford Center website, I urge you to explore the various programs and educational opportunities we offer. Please note that we emphasize involving the entire family in the recovery process, and we stress the importance of each person identifying his or her own spiritual path.
With more than 100,000 alumni throughout the world, the Betty Ford Center has a network of alumni and friends in nearly every part of this country and beyond. If you or a friend are considering help for a problem with alcohol and/or other drugs, I invite you to view our website for more detailed information. Staff members are available and waiting to assist you.
In 1982, Betty Ford and Leonard Firestone founded the Betty Ford Center to serve patients and save families. Today, we continue to support their vision.
